Check out architectural photography’s top dog

Julius Shulman created stunning visual records of the work of pretty much every modern architect of the last century -- from Frank Lloyd Wright to Frank Gehry to John Lautner. His moody photographs captured the beauty of California's modernist movement, and introduced America to a new way of seeing gorgeous buildings. And lest he be forgotten, Shulman’s life and career have been immortalized in Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman, a film by documentarian Eric Bricker celebrating the man some refer to as “the world's greatest architectural photographer.”
