While the parking lots of the Valley's three Sandbar locations are normally used for stow your ride during most of the year, during Cinco de Mayo weekend the spaces will become the site of three days of wacky athletic theatrics and specials like $3.50 Dos Equis. For example, the Peoria location will feature a strongman competition on Saturday, May 1, as well as music from Adam Shero and Another Day; followed by its annual dodgeball tournament with a $1,000 cash prize on Sunday, May 2, and music from the Island Magic Steel Drum Band on Wednesday, May 2. The fun starts at 11 a.m. each day.
