when the east europeans and irish came from europe, we as a nation ask for them to come, they got off port in new york and was given papers for naturalization(citizens). thats america the IMMIGRATION NATION, not people sneaking across the border and being told not to come thats an INVASION, none of us were originally from here, but the rules are now is how it is, this isnt the 1700's

People seem to forget that America is an immigrant nation. Is it really possible to deport all illegals.

"One of Hethmon's fellow lawyers at IRLI is Kris Kobach, the guy getting paid $300 an hour in Maricopa County funds to "train" Sheriff Joe Arpaio's deputies in immigration law." This does not do any good because there are so many already, who slipped right through the fingers, like butter...still here in the USA, making more money than those born in the USA...yet, nothing has been done...our young Americans looking for jobs daily, while illegals making big bucks by using a different name....

Pobox348 09/17/2010 5:57:00 AM
Yes, this country has many immigrants, because the USA cares about others...but, when you claim freedom of speech, let me tell you something which will knock you off your chair!!!!! Be prepared when you say, "They cam to this continent for a better life...mexicans are hard-working people that discriminate lazyness, not race or color.." You got it all wrong!!! Why??? Because when you go to a court of law, you WILL be challenged, possibly embarassed because you will be challenged to PROVE your statements!!!! I hope you have done your homework and be prepared to tell the Judge where you got your information....One thing about education, you will be taught to not overgeneralize....have you gone out and conducted a survey...to prove your point in a court of law??? If you will do that, I can promise you that I will be there also to prove to you that "Mexicans are hard-working people that discriminate lazyness, not race or color..." You will be provided with evidence that these people have stolen, possibly your registration sticker assigned only to your vehicle, because they refuse to pay the license sticker required for the PRIVILEDGE to drive, NOT a right....steal at dollar stores because they do not have the types of doors who will buzz loud, when an item is stolen, instead of purchased????? Please be prepared to provide your evidence in the presence of a court of law, a judge, the prosecutor, possibly a jury trial....more so the different names lied to our America, all to obtain free food stamps, medical,...while the husband is also working under possibly your own ssi # and your name???? Hmmm, something to think about????

pamfila 09/16/2010 4:47:00 AM
Yes, tonight, at approximately 9:15 pm, I came home, long commute because all day I had classes at school, an exam...came home tired, too tired desiring 8 hours of sleep...I arrive, and the neighbors who came to the USA, illegally, made sure that I heard their songs, in Spanish, singing Viva Mexico!!!! English, "Long Live Mexico!!!!" It was really LOUD, as if to provoke or incite something....Yet, they bring home approximately $2000 per month...claiming they work hard for their hard earned money in the hot sun...we can see how much they love the USA, right or wrong????

-
pamfila 09/07/2010 4:06:00 AM
Yes, we are still crying, crying....since our birth, we learned American history....we learned about our forefathers, England, Washington D.C....the white house....our U.S. Presidents, and yet, we still have to listen about people who hate our country...my daddy, 102 years old loves the USA.....I remembered our president Kennedy Who murdered our President of the United States of America?????????We want answers!!!!!!!
-
Ppobox348 09/06/2010 6:22:00 PM
Look!!! Mydaddy was born in Silverbell, Arizona....my mommie (who is now deceased, was born in Bisbee, Arizona.....Yes, I am crying, crying....why??????because United States has been dis-restpected...to the max....Look, just go to YouTube.com.type Ray Charles singing about our nation..erthe Beautiful....This is so sad that today we have people coming into our nation, laughing at us because they were able to come into the USA, without USA papers...children of undocumented...because they know how ...

pamfila 09/05/2010 6:06:00 AM
One big, tremendous, problem that young people, older people... are facing today...we go to school to learn...somehow the focus on American life is very, very wrong...the monies are going somewhere to assist the undocumented, while American students suffer...American students struggle; they want to go to school to learn...again, somehow the focus is wrong...because in spite of diligent study, all the student learns in school: "Test" on such and such date...that is all students learn nowadays...lots of money is being invested for each student, because Americans do have to be educated (It is a good thing.) When students (especially young people) have a desire to go to higher education....you take it from there...all it is is test on such and such a date...and the student is not fully prepared...the instructor is adding more and more books...well, how many books do they want us to buy??? They have a degree...look, supposedly you registered for three classes, 4 units each...then, the poor student did not get enough 8-hour sleep??? How can that person function with his/her brain???? It's taught in school that most people need 8 hours of sleep...in those 3 classes, each instructor is criminally wrong to demand lots of hours from that student (as a machine, instead of a human being) So by the time the student is through for the day, he/she has faced 3 teachers...all demanding unrealistic time from that student...each teacher thinks that this is the ONLY class...adds books, unrealistic reading....c'mon...students are human beings who are not superman...the brain needs 8 hours of sleep, time to get to school...etc...yet the professor will tell you, "Sorry, that is not my problem."...please take it from there...

Please do not call someone "a cool-aid drinking ASS-CLOWN!!!" Also, do not bring up the barrio; you will be challenged because yours truly was raised in a barrio along with others who are now very productive to our USA...People who work those fields have been afraid of raids, because the law was broken and they do not want to be caught. Young, abled-bodied, strong, American young people cannot get a job because they will demand wages which meet their hard earned money in the strong, hot sun. They will do the same work because then they will be paid the monies that they deserve. They will also be provided with medical insurance, retirement funds, sick leave...the list goes on and on...I notice that we have to be thick skinned with your language, because although we understand your frustration, you are ignoring the issue: a law was broken...Yes, I have worked "side by side with the undocumented in the field..." I only worked for 1 whole day, under hot sun, take orders from a contracted worker who was here illegally and falsifying papers/social security #s - stolen from others....yet, ordering me as if he was legally here???? working for beans????? yet also, I am a proud American, but, I beg your pardon, working for some employer who hires for cheap labor????

We just hae to be very careful...because people, advacates for undocumented, know computers, know how to manipulate them....(for those of you who know computers). They often know how to read our messeges and notify, prepare...the undocumented, because there are there is a ring of them. Just pay close attention to your computer. Please do not post anything that someone else easily has access.

Well, you are correct in reference to t "I just served 18 months for a DUI that was below .08..." and, no, "illegals here should be exempt from the law..." We are sure that our legislators are seriously investigating this issue...undocumented people have broken the law...what keeps our government from doing anything at present, is because they already know exactly what is going; they will make their move when it is time; also, they will be able to provide legit and substantiated evidence when they make their move....because remember, they also have their legal counsel...they just know when to make their move against the undocumented...I hope I have helped, just a little bit at least??

pamfila 09/04/2010 6:13:00 AM
No, no....Arizona is never going to lose revenue...please do not speak for the rest of us, which are large in numbers....we happen to love our USA, and those who govern...Please, as asked of everyone else...please provide substantiation to your accusations, and to present a valid argument...
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 6:09:00 AM
Please do not call our law enforcement officers, "overzealous pigs." Thank you very much. Instead, please next time, state, "I have walked in their shoes." Bottom line, it is those people, arrested, who have never obeyed rules, laws, statutes...they thought they knew everything, instead of just obeying the laws. Obedience to the laws never hurt anyone...this is just something for you to think about...
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 6:05:00 AM
You are very wrong...until you go into a prison, you will see people who thank God, our law enforcement protected our society...When you go into a prison, you will see killers, (possibly one who killed one of your family) We need law and order; even algebra has to follow the law in order to arrive into the solution...You have to have proof and substantiate as to what you are arguing...especially in a court of law...if you do not, nobody is going to hear what you have to say; because, you must have proof, legit proof...do you have it in order to prove your point??? because, then, and only then, you will be listened to, as well as respected...
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 5:57:00 AM
Look, the issue is, "the law was broken" We are very trustworthy in our USA because we love our country. Face this, the almighty $ is what everyone wants...why??? because we can buy necessities, feed our loved ones and ourselves,....all legit reasons...but, there is still the question of LAW. Everyone must obey the laws which govern our society. When young people see that it is ok to break the law, think...It is very simple...it does hurt America, our country, to see so many disrespecting, hating, abusing, the list goes on and on....This country is the most beautiful in the whole wide world...many come for the $$$$, yet, our country is disrespected when their countries are loved above the USA...if they come to go into combat for our country, believe this, it is not love for our country; it is love for their country who keeps them hungry, no welfare checks, no free medical, ....believe this, it is for what is called, "GREED." So, we have a big problem...
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 5:46:00 AM
Now, now, please do not use the word "hate, or hatred..." We all feel for you, but hatred is a type of cancer; you do not want that for you, nor your family. Yes, many of us agree with you...but remember, hatred even sounds like some type of cancer, which will eat you up alive....you do not want that...there has to be some positive strategy to defend the laws which govern our USA. Hatred is not going to do it...the law is on our side....when we use hatred, remember that we live in this body. This body gets sick, old, and eventually dies...hatred affect your body while on this earth....we are very sure that our elected officials and government already know what is happening, and they will defend the USA to the fullest extent of the law. So, please, no more hatred...(smile) Just think for a moment, when you want to grow corn, you will plant corn seeds; same way, when you plant hatred, that plant will grow as a poison and possible affect your body...we do not want that...

Just recently, a Mexican person challenged me as to if I know the law, why do I not park in the alley, my car, because her and her illegal husband who receive American benefits through deception for medical, dental, vision, free ride to her dyalisys...not an American citizen...yet, she challenged me for my parking spot, because she wants her illegally-come here husband (working for a rancher who hires illegals) She challenged me that I park my vehicle in the alley; she is illerate, but knows how to manipulate/lie to the USA government, while her husband brings home $2000+ per month...I told her, in an authoritarian manner, I said, "Look lady, you know what you are doing is wrong to our government; the police will not allow anyone to park in the alley!!!" Why??? You ask me, why??? I told her, that when police give a direct order, it must be obeyed!!! They do not want people parking on county property because should there be an emergency, they will not be able to respond with cars parked in an alleyway, county's property to begin with. I shut her mouth with my words, because her (illegally, uneducated) challanged someone who wants to attend school and learn.

pamfila 09/04/2010 5:04:00 AM
Whoever shot the undocumented, perhaps he was defending the USA....our students, since grammer school, are taught to obey and respect our U.S. Constitution; this includes our U.S. elected President, our Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court..what you are teaching our young people is that it is ok to break the law....first, you tell your child that it is important to go to school, to obey all laws, not to hurt anyone....think about it....people coming into this USA, yes, some come in to hurt our nation; others come in illegally so that their offspring will get a free education, others come in because they want citizenship....the list goes on and on....yet, the law has been broken against the USA and the USA Constitution....Most illegals, speaking from what we see, most illegals own housing...why???? because they lied, using false documents, lying to the USA with stolen birth certificates....need we say more???? Hopefully, in a court of law you will provide the court legit substantiation documents....which will allow the USA Government to fully investigate...because they will do this...young people want honesty from their government, their leaders, their parents....the list goes on and on....
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 4:53:00 AM
When you know what the law stipulates, please come to all of us and explain it...whoever comes into this country, the USA, is to obey the U.S. Constitution, no buts...If you were to go into a court of law, I challenge you to answer to the Judge and answer the question: Can you prove that the anglos were their descendants? If you have not proof, please stay out of it, please inform the judge that you are knowledgeable in law, and qualified to explain the U.S. History of the USA, please, can you do that...mark my word, YOU will be challenged by the educators who took the time to go to law school, struggled to pass those difficult exams, suffered hunger....the list goes on and on...because when you present your story to the judge, you will be asked to provide a substantuation to your accusation...
-
pamfila 09/04/2010 4:44:00 AM
No! no! no!...nobody profits from the "illegal immigration." You are defending CRIME...Believe us, you are doing the USA a great big favor by leaving the USA...why??? because when they leave, there will no longer be cheap labor...Americans will go out there to the big, hot sun and be paid what the law legally demands...bosses have to pay what the law designates so that Americans will have the great desire to go and work, facing the tremendous big sun...why?? because they will have to be paid what the law so declares...the money they deserve to be paid, also, the benefits entitled to them, one more thing...their retirement....

Xmas is around the corner; this is when Mother Mary is thought of....

You will get the refund according to the illegal's promise to you...yes, you will get that refund check from the federal government....think about this, when you are caught?????? I feel sorry for you because you wanted the easy/criminal way to obtain free $$$$ ....while you yourself disobeyed God Almighty, Mother Mary????, our U.S. Government?????Can you please answer this one???? If not, please ....we do not need your input....

Latest news, word is out that there is some kinda computer network which is against our Arizona government due to people promoting illegal immigration...so sad, because we are sure our U.S. Government is already on top of it. People who do not respect laws, claiming they love God, should also pay close attention to what God says in His Word, something to the effect, to obey Caesar ( this means man's law; owe no man nothing..." We are to obey man's law...when people disrespect our U.S. Government, and the statutes, we are also disobeying God. He wants us to obey our U.S. Government, only exception is to denounce God. God likes laws; the 10 Commandments do not provide for a religion; they provide obedience to man's law and God's law so that every person is at peace. To owe no man nothing, clearly indicates that we are to pay our taxes, our debts, especially our loaners....

If you hate the Governor of Arizona, watch out!!! You are a nobody for even wishing death upon her...yet you pray to the Virgin Mary, who did NOT create the heavens and the earth????Please read God's Word, Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth..." It did NOT say the Virgin Mary!!! You, who call yourself religious, read the Bible and you will learn that you are in sin by wishing death upon another human being. The Governor of Arizona is protected because she is a leader!!! Until you walk in her shoes please do not judge her...instead, give her some respeto (respect) as God commands in His Holy Word. Mother Mary would tell you the same thing....

I can go to Arizona when I feel like it. Why? Because I am honored to be a USA citizen, born in the USA!!! My parents were also born in the state of Arizona. We are PROUD to be Americans!!! This country has a beautiful history because it is documented in all history books. The problem lies in that illegals bring up Pancho Villa, etc...that this was their country...well, sorry Charlie, you lost the war!!! This country is the most beautiful country in the whole wide world, otherwise, if you are illegal, you are jealous...you came here illegally!!! You broke the law!!! We are waiting for ICE to come to Le Grand and get rid of many here who have falsified documents, disrespect our country, the USA, have lied to the immigration in Fresno, CA ---all to their false pride...that this was their country. Then, as the person up above indicated re: Mexican music - thanks to pamfila who stresses the Blast which does not allow students to stude because of that loud Blast!!!
-
pamfila 08/29/2010 1:13:00 AM
Right on!!! If you do not appreciate the USA, please get out!!!! Please read the history of this great nation.... obviously, it seems that maybe you are lying to our federal government, cheating to get $$$, free $$$...until the law catches up to you...because believe me, we do face discrimination by illegals who hate our USA and people born here; yet, they cannot speak a word of English...they play their Mexican music LOUD/BLASTING until students will soon be going to the government and demand that they want peace and quiet in order to pass their exams at school. Thank God for ICE; hopefully they will come very soon and arrest in Le Grand, CA for their disrespect for American Law.
-
pamfila 08/28/2010 6:57:00 AM
Yes, we still have a problem with your explanation that we have a problem with "What does that matter?" We are waiting for your response when you are focusins as the taste of that music. We never said that Mexican music is bad..we want to get across -- that when people want respect to their right to peace because they want to go to school and study...their rights are being disrespected. Once again, if you (maybe likes that type of music, which is your right)...if you play your taste for this type of music and want everybody to hear it (blasting it loud), you are in violation of a law. Law enforcement WILL come out to tell you to lower it, due to complaints of your neighbors living close to you, warning you to lower it to keep the peace...if they have to come out again, yes you will have to face a court of law who will order you a big fine, also a warning to keep your taste of music to yourself...that you have a right to hear your music quietly as to not disrespect others' peace and quiet. Think about this because if you continue to defend what you wrote, believe this, you will be outnumbered by Americans who want peace in their lives.
-
pamfila 08/28/2010 6:28:00 AM
I guess, what I am trying to say, is that we do not hate human beings; all we want is that because we all have to obey all laws, everyone (including the undocumented) have to obey the laws which are passed by our Congress. The USA and the U.S. Constitution must be obeyed. Undocumented have to also obey and respect the USA laws. I do have a problem when I question why, why people coming in from i.e. Mexico, they are unhappy with Mexico, why do these people honor their country while taking advantage of our country, our USA??? When students are struggling through school, staying out of trouble, Why? do people from Mexico play their taste of Mexican music so loud, BLASTING LOUD, when students want to study??? Nobody has answered this question. Our USA government deserve respect and honor. Just today, I heard the news, that one of our police officer's life was taken away...police officers are only doing their job, to keep our cities and the USA safe. The undocumented people, which I have witnessed, are illiterate, think they are above the law, desrespect our police officers when they enforce/uphold the laws that govern our society. One example that I witnessed and that I will expose, is that one undocumented was stopped on a traffic violation. He has refused to go to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles to obtain a driver license, pay registration fees, no insurance (as the law stipulates). When he was assigned a lawyer, he was complaining that the officer did not "treat me right." The public defender jumped him and reprimanded him that she did not have to hear his complaint. She expressed, "Look, you broke the law!!!" This particular individual had been stopped several times; he had to pay lots of $$$ for previous and same violations. What is he hiding??? But instead, he feels that he has committed no violation of the law; he buys your stolen registration sticker assigned to your vehicle, for $20; still feels that the law is wrong...When I told him that he is in a "macho trip" he promised that he would never speak to me again (which is a blessing to me). When a police officer does his/her job, we are to obey, period!!! There has to be laws because otherwise there will be chaos. When you arrive a red stop light, we have to stop as the law indicates. Just think, what would happen if this particular law did not exist??? I leave this up to you to think about this...
-
pamfila 08/27/2010 8:49:00 AM
"Oh, then they want us to listen to their LOUD mexican music from MEXICO...."
In response to your message above...it is obvious, very obvious, that you are NOT understand the LEGAL issue involved...Nobody is interested in your Why does that matter? {"P.S. a little trivia: rock-and-roll was created as a fusion of at least Euro- and African-American, and maybe even other, cultures. Got a problem with THAT?"} The legal issue stated above (I hope you read it again.) In defense of your statement...The question is that if, IF, you are playing your cultured music, play it so that you, yourself, play this music...Please consider the privacy of others, the legal issue here is that you keep your tase of music to yourself...Nobody is against their type of music...we just want to live in peace, that music was soooo loud with amplifier, where you cannot even hear your own TV (that is how loud it is interrupting our studying; that is very disrespectful) Also, it is very embarrasing to have to tell the neighbor to lower that music...Is that what they want?? Now, can you cite the penal code as to public disturbance...the law is clear and is to be respected...If you want to change that law, I challenge you to argue with those who wrote the law. Any judge in the court of law, will challenge you and reprimand...that he/she had to have peace and quiet while studying, that he/she had to go thru law school, that he/she want young people to study instead of living an idle life.
-
pamfila 08/27/2010 8:06:00 AM
Yes, that happens all the time...we have witnessed that the women marry an American person in order to become a U.S. citizen...changing their names...yes, they became American citizen...If our government begins to investigate the people working the offices with power, they would find out that they, themselves, are assisting illegals...they are paid "under the table"....mocking our precious USA...this type of criminal behavior will stop when our government gets really serious and begins to check every little thing...surely, things will be exposed and blow your mind...why? because obeying the law is serious business...it is nothing to play with...Thanks to God that we have computers which are storing and exposing frauds...Have fear of God, who can see everything...then, you cannot go wrong!!!
-
pamfila 08/27/2010 7:52:00 AM
Remember the golden rule, "Treat others as you want to be treated..." We are not playing!!! Students go to school because they want to learn...if you do not want to learn let others learn. Students, might be your own grandchild someday who might want to be a doctor....he/she needs peace and quiet because of the very difficult exams and reading...students have rights...anyone who wants to study are pretty soon, they will call our local law enforcement because we do not need your dictation...statutory law is written law and clearly specifies to respect the peace of others...at least, if you do not want to go to school, please go to church where you will learn to respect the rights of others...you want to play your music, please keep it to yourself...
-
pamfila 08/27/2010 7:37:00 AM
Believe us...your dirty $$$, Arizona does not need anyway...as for those who work the fields, they broke the LAW!!! Obviously, you are not playing with a full deck of cards..Laws are to be obeyed....maybe you enjoy your whoever, going to the welfare office for FREE $$ and foodstamps, lying to the government....NOTHING is FREE...but we do have faith in our USA government that soon, thanks to computers, they will catch the criminals, and YOU will not be able to do anything about it....You have guts in what you have expressed, but we dare you to talk this way in front of any court of law...
-
pamfila 08/27/2010 7:30:00 AM
Yes, we have a serious problem with that, because even if you do not want to go to school in the USA, please do NOT put down our students...You go to college, have to do the studying, doing the hard homework....and people who do not respect others who want to study...yes there is a problem with that because people should play their own music for themselves without interrupting students who want to go to school and study for a career, etc...Yes, whoever you are, you should go to school learn the laws, because if you play your music so loud to disrupt the peace of others,....in our community, you would have to go to court, slapped with a fine...because the police came out and gave you a verbal warning to respect the peace of others...2nd time around, the police will not play with you because now, you DID disobey the law; you will be cited and have to go to court!!!! How does that grap you??????

KTAR 92.3 FM; This thing, or whatever DOES NOT work with USA people (voters who really want to express themselves...How dare you play with us...Look, no excuses...Illegals are putting our Government into bankrupcy..Just hire investigators who will go to Salinas CA, apply for a copy of their birth certificate...As long as they present them with the info taken from the birth certificate, stolen from yours truly........cry, cry, cry....because America is being desrespected to the utmost...I bet if your hard earned $$$ which you paid for the law requiring that sticker on your license plate is stolen by the illegal, because they do not want to get caught by our law enforcement (maybe they came here illegally???) Sin and a shame....for our USA...look, just in front of where I live, the county van picks up the illegal and provides medical, food stamps, ssi money...Now this will blow your mind...The women who come from way deep in Mexico, their husbands work the agriculture fields...yes, while their wives use a different name, with false documents and statements to the social worker that they have no food, a place to live...while their husbands are bringing home $$$ working the fields...who are they kidding?? All that $$$$ is going to women whose husbands bring paychecks, because they know how to manipulate, lie to our government for free handouts, all the while using other names, i.e. stealing others' ssi #s....Tears again for our USA

If this is really true, why hasn't the media reported on it? You would think that this being a free country and all, we'd be able to see ALL sides of the argument..........I guess not.

Be careful for what you wish for, because you mark my word that what you have wished upon this American governor will most likely happen to you..If you do not appreciate our United States of America, don't you think you should go to Mexico and live among all those criminals????What are you talking about???These people will steal your own toothbrush because they do not want to spend the dollar they earned illegally, through an illegal social security number...Yes, they work during the farmworker season for beans, then they go to Mexico for Xmas holidays while a friend, or relative, in the USA illegally signs and cashes their unemployment check and sends the money to them in Mexico. Then, they return to USA to work the cycle again. Just for your information, it is against the law to receive unemployment checks without looking for work. If I were you, I would be careful as to what you are saying in the internet because the law is reading your statements, and maybe you are committing the exact same crime????

Pamfila 07/05/2010 10:43:00 PM
NO NO, NO,...Arizona is NOT discriminating...enough is enough, why???? Those illegal aliens come here to America as opportunists; they are not thinking about obeying laws; they are thinking about the green almighty dollar! Living in California, we witness them coming in through San Diego. Many came through very easily just by practicing "American citizen"...during those thimes, if they talked like an American, or did not look real Mexican, easily were allowed through. These people are criminals and know how to manipulate the system, i.e. there is a woman here who recently became and American citizen; she paid an American man to marry her as a business. He makes $$$$ by marrying women from Mexico and helping them to become U.S. citizens. The only way to catch him and his daughter is if the government goes after the Mexican woman and ordering her to give up his name.
-
Pamfila 07/05/2010 10:22:00 PM
Kevin, you are very correct...When you, or I, break the law, we will be punished according to the statutes (what is written); it seems that illegals are getting away with a whole lot...i.e. here in LeGrand, CA we are infested with illegals using false IDs, false birth certificates which were stolen by some bleeding heart who cannot find an American man because she is too fat and will not exercise, passing illegals to U.S. with stolen birth certificates, etc.....yes, those illegals go out in the hot sun because the ranchers pay them beans; American men are too smart for that because if they go out there in the hot sun, the labor law will apply to the letter of the law, i.e. farmers will have to pay overtime, medical and dental benefits, pensions, etc.....They are rich because the illegal aliens are willing to settle for those beans...
-
Pamfila 07/05/2010 10:09:00 PM
Yep, yep, yep!!!! Those illegals will, I am sure be able to find their way back home, just like when they broke the U.S. Laws and came here illegally. Thank you very much!!!

This is not your column either!!!! Our U.S. Constitution allows for freedom of speech that defends our country.....This is our country...go to school so that you can learn the law and argue your ;point before the U.S. Supreme Court. They will tell you the same thing, because if you do not defend the United States of America, GET OUT!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
-
Pamfila 07/05/2010 10:01:00 PM
Look!! You are not making any sense...illegals are used to using false ID's, someone else's birth certificate because they stole it...driving without a license and a registration sticker that was bought for $20 from a thief who makes a living by removing those sticker....When you break the law, (excuse me, when YOU break the law, guess what???) There have to be laws, otherwise, chaos!!!!!! Please, please, please, DEFEND our UNITED STATES of AMERICA, or GET OUT!!!!!!!
-
Pamfila 07/05/2010 9:35:00 PM
Yes, here in LeGrand, CA you have fat mexicans who cannot get a date with an American; they start dating men from Mexico, who cannot speak English and have been here for years, why??? because the welfare gives them a check, medical, etc...and the men bringing in a $500 - $600 check working the hot sun. Oh, but they do not mind because the woman goes to the welfare dept crying that she does not have food for the children, cannot afford the rent, needs medical attention........catch the drift????And on Fridays a big fat check that the Mexican Man brings home using somebody else's social security number, false California Driver Licenses, and IDs to cash those illegal checks.....then, pays some thief who will steal your license plate annual sticker from DMV, yes pays the thief $20 for that sticker....to look current when our law enforcement officers run the plate....need we say more???Oh, then they want us to listen to their LOUD mexican music from MEXICO....

This country is made of immigrants, most of them NOT LEGAL. Most of them EX-CONVICTS FROM EUROPEAN PRISONS, THEY CAME TO THIS CONTINENT FOR A BETTER LIFE!!! And most anglos are their descendants.
An FBI report on LAtimes, states that the cities of LESS VIOLENT CRIMES IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY ARE IN BORDER STATES, DESPITE ARGUMENTS FROM BREWER, PIERCE & ARPAIO, they are San Diego, Phoenix, El Paso, & Austin, Tx. WHAT DOES THAT TELLS YOU ABOUT MEXICANS IN GENERAL???
Yes, that Brewer, Pierce and Arpaio are all about racial discrimination, not about real facts.
Mexicans are hard-working people that discriminate lazyness, not race or color..
YES, BOYCOTT ARIZONA. WE DON'T SHOP IN ARIZONA ANYMORE UNTIL BREWER, PIERCE & ARPAIO ARE OVERTHROWN.

Pearce and brewer and their enablers shot themselves in the foot. They may win the battle but they lost the war. Who the Hell in their right mind would want to step a foot in Arizona much less live here. Those who are trapped in the state pray for the day they can leave. Thank Pearce and brewer, his puppet for the mess Arizona is in. I didn't vote for any of them. The bigots and racists can have the state for themselves. Let Sun City pay for them and the damage they've done to innocent lives, families and children.

How are Mexico’s law's on immigration tougher than our own, and yet we get criticism for being "racist & inhumane"? I haven't heard one person who argues against the law to have any knowledge other than what our so called 'news' agencies dispatch. How many people have researched SB 1070, read it & can understand that it's mirroring United State's federal law? An American citizen in Mexico, legally or illegally, could not protest any political movement or idea; which is exactly what has happened all over the U.S. by non-citizens, ie: ILLEGAL immigrants.
From the Consititution of Mexico (link provided)
Article 9. The right to assemble or associate peaceably for any lawful purpose cannot be restricted; but only citizens of the Republic may do so to take part in the political affairs of the country. No armed deliberative meeting is authorized.

From what I have read, the AZ law mirrors the FEDERAL law. Since the FEDERAL government won't enforce their law the STATE of AZ decided to do it themselves. The $$$ drain on the local community must be HUGE, in all sections, medical care, schooling, houseing, emergency services, crime, My question is......"how is this wrong?"
If a person is in the US illegally they have committed a crime. Seems pretty simple to me. Commit a crime go to jail, isn't that how it works!
I must say I support Arizona's right to enforce the law. I will continue to visit Arizona every winter to enjoy its weather, baseball training camps, great ethnic foods, museums, field trips to the desert.

"DECISIONS". This law is based solely on discrimination. My father was once an illegal immigrant. One day, he crossed illegally from Mexico to this country. I APPLAUD his brave decision for a better life. Thanks to him, THIS BELOVED COUNTRY CAN COUNT ON ONE MORE electrician, a math teacher, a civil engineer, a nurse, a paralegal, a data analyst, a tax preparer, a physicist & nuclear engineer, a clinical psychologist and me, a truck driver. All of us HAVE BEEN GOOD FOR THE OVERALL U.S. ECONOMY. My father made a smart decision. Illegal immigrants and their children buy houses, cars, insurances, everything in the stores, they spend billions of dollars in the fast-food restaurants, not only adding an extra billionaire revenue to this industry, but creating thousands of extra jobs to cope with the clientele in this places. McDONALDS, WENDYS, BURGER KING: Stand up and defend the illegal immigrants from people like Jan Brewer, she is too blind to see that WE DON'T SHOP IN ARIZONA ANYMORE, and this is hurting this state more than anything else. Perhaps she is waiting to have a heart attack and have her life being saved by the son of an illegal immigrant, yes, the cardiologist-in-turn in the emergency room. And maybe then, she will clearly see her stupid decisions.

******NEWS FLASH******
Whites to be racially profiled, stopped, detained, questioned, forced to show proof of no wrongdoing.
Due to the disastrous and devastating effects of white people, who have willingly and unremorsefully ruined our economy, coast, jobs, name and reputation abroad, other countries, and on and on...(BP, AIG, CitiGroup, Goldman Sachs, Bush, Cheney, Haliburton, and on and on...) whites will now be targeted and required to show proof that they are not a part of any of these groups. Since it is white people, and not undocumented Latino workers, that are the ones who are truly destroying this country, they will be completely happy in adhering to the checks and searches, especially if they have nothing to hide.
Effective immediately.

Chad Snow,
If you want credibility, it would help if you didn't blame a brand-new law for problems whose onset was in 2008. For all the ranting about how supporters of the new law are economically ignorant, I observe that neither side is free of exaggeration and logical fallacies. Further, it appears to this writer that some of the more extreme and irresponsible comments purporting to support the law are most likely written as false-flag attacks by opponents of the law.

Michael Bowes, Address the real issue in all this -- those who "profit" from the "illegal immigration". As the Legislators and the Governor passed a bill to privatize / sell/ lease the "existing" state prisons, whose interest are they looking out for? Ask the officials these questions. Who's paying for the Detention Centers that will get filled - where there is NO oversight, transparency or oversight? This political game is sick and has negatively impacted Arizona, a once fine state. With people like you who offer NO solutions, we are preparing to leave Arizona -- it's done. It's retreating back into it's snail shell back in the '30's. How sad.

EDITORIAL
Trenton Gets It Right
Published: May 21, 2010
A coalition of community groups in Trenton is issuing photo identification cards to illegal immigrants. The cards are not government IDs, though they are accepted by many check-cashing companies, libraries, stores, and medical clinics, and at public parks and pools.
Related
Times Topic: Immigration and Emigration
Giving unofficial IDs to undocumented immigrants defies the prevailing winds in other states and localities, where the public mood, and sometimes local statute, defines all immigrants without papers as criminals. These places make no distinction between dangerous law-breakers and peaceable workers and families, between those who harm a community and those who build it up.
They see the difference in Trenton — and in Princeton, New Haven, San Francisco and other cities. The Trenton police and the Mercer County sheriff and prosecutor’s office have endorsed the cards. Trenton’s coalition — a project of the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund — includes churches, civic associations, the Fire Department and public schools.
All these groups, most significantly the law enforcement agencies, know that having ID is vital to fighting crime, treating the sick and injured, and making business and society function. They know that a community of anonymous members is no community at all.
In Arizona, a new law enshrines the opposite view. “The intent of this act is to make attrition through enforcement the public policy of all state and local government agencies in Arizona,” it says. “Attrition through enforcement” is the fantasy that illegal immigrants will deport themselves by the millions if the government can make them sufficiently miserable and frightened.
Arizona and Trenton are both grappling with a broken immigration system, where millions live outside the law. Arizona’s approach is: Stay anonymous and afraid and then maybe you’ll get out. Trenton’s is: Tell us who you are, and help us build a community. Neither solution will solve the big problem. But it is clear which is the more effective, humane and responsible.

Michael Bowes 05/20/2010 1:21:00 AM
Dear Sir,
I regularly read your articles in NewTimes. Sometimes I agree with you. Sometimes I disagree; but I am almost always entertained - Not enlightened by your views; but entertained.
I'm entertained and mesmerized by your references to illegal aliens as "immigrants", and I'm somewhat appalled by your use of the idiotic term "nativists".
My wife was an "immigrant" - a legal immigrant. My grandparents and great-grandparents were "immigrants" - legal immigrants. There's a difference between legal and illegal immigration.
So, my question to you sir is: Are you for totally open borders? In other words, shall we allow anyone from any country to enter the United States without quota and without regulation? Many, many persons who are citizens of other countries would love to live in the United States. Shall we let them all in? Shall we invite any and all of the citizens of China, India, Africa, the Middle East and all other countries to just "come on down"?
I'd really like to know your views on this.
Thanks.
Michael Bowes

Illegals=$$$"s for Incarcerati 05/19/2010 10:46:00 PM
Arizona taxpayers you need to start to worry about the cost of the mass incarceration of Arizona which threatens all. One BILLION $$$"s with no end in site. Private Prisons taking over. Which legislators are invested in CCA, GEO and all the industries who profit from incarceration which include IRA's, 401K's and hidden entities. ? Let's see that list -- the list of the AZ profiteers.

I think it is already having an impact. At least on the guy trying to sell a Bobcat on e-bay. My father-in-law is Italian and Black-Irish. His skin is pretty dark, especially in the summer. You think he and I are going to take a run down to Arian-zona to buy this. Not worth the risk of the hassle. I know, bring your birth cert and cross you fingers, right? So sorry to people trying to conduct business in that....State. btw, I am for border enforcement, just not for profiling by overzealous pigs.
-
Psychadelic 05/19/2010 5:46:00 PM
This is so difficult. I guess one thing that never gets talked about is the "possibility" of racial profiling. Possibility means that there is a chance it won't happen. It means the future...something that has not happened yet. What is real? What is happening today? Where can we put a finger down and say...HERE...this is real and happening now with the subsequent consequences. If for instance it can be proven beyond a doubt that illegals are taking but not contributing...that should be dealt with as it sets up a financial situation that becomes untenable. If Illegals are getting compensated via education or subsidies or health care...why should citizens (btw hispanic citizens are included here as the key word is citizens) pay for that when so many can barely meet their own bills? Let's prove what the impact of Illegals is on this community...both good and bad...and then figure out if the law is worth keeping or reversing. A law can be a good one or a bad one. A good one should be applauded...bad ones changed...but for certain, if the law is no longer relavent and not adhered to, we are bound to end up in chaos.

pragmatist 05/18/2010 9:12:00 PM
Well, it seems that the reverse boycott is going to actually generate more revenue than would have been lost. Since a majority of Americans support the legislation, they are re-configuring their buying and traveling patterns to INCLUDE Arizona. San Diego just lost a deluge of hotel reservations from Arizonans in a reverse-boycott. Villagarosa (sp) was just told today that we will be more than willing to liberate California of the electrons from our power generating facilities if they really want to intentionally harm our economy. Austin is now suffering from a Texas-wide boycott due to their boycott of Arizona, which according to anecdotal evidence, is already hurting reservations and travel to Austin from elsewhere in Texas.
I would understand if Arizona had done something wrong, but it hasn't. The legislation simply parallels federal legislation in order to remove political handcuffs at the intersection of police with the people.
I'd not be surprised to see Arizona actually RAISE money if this boycott nonsense continues. Americans are sick of the feds not securing the borders. Nothing more, nothing less.

You people love Lawlessness. Jesus said in the end times lawlessness will abound and because of that the love of many will grow cold. He did not say homosexuality, or sin, or broken homes, or other 'sins' will abound. Lawlessness. I just served 18 months for a DUI that was below .08. This was my fault. To say that the illegals here should be exempt from the law of the land is a slap in my face. You have probably not even read 1070. Why not mind your own business? It's because you think lawlessness is social justice. Minless a**holes like you are going to cause blood to be spilled one day. We, of Arizona, say enough is enough. You do not live in this state-you do not know what we have to put up with when it comes to many of the illegals and their ways. You should remember that dont like your kind telling us what we should believe in, or what we should do. We resisted you about the MLK thing. We do not even turn or clocks back and forth because you say we should. Go to hell, you stupids. Your voices stink to us!

I live in Virginia. I will not only not be going to Arizona as a tourist, I am now asking any of the helplines I call (call centers for VISA, Apple computer, etc.) if they are in Arizona. If they are, I ask to speak to a supervisor and tell them I will find another way to solve my problem (re-route to another call center, Internet, etc).
It saddens me to know that the only way to teach people how to act like decent human beings is to affect their economy, but so be it.

After I had lived in AZ for a few years and I was talking with family about how it is out here and I referenced myself as Anglo I started getting screamed at - by my family. "But you are NOT Anglo!" I explained that I know who I am and what is my racial composition but the fact of the matter is that in AZ those distinctions are not made. The two largest populations in the greater Phoenix area is Hispanic and white. The prejudice of the Hispanics means that I am "Anglo." Respect for my history, my uniqueness, my culture is nil. I am "Anglo" and that is all that they can see. The prejudice of the Hispanic community is huge enough to even change the terminology of everyone in this area from what is used in other cities in the nation. I am not "Anglo." They are not educated enough nor do they care enough for anybody else's feelings to do anything but discriminate and label and either dismiss or destroy. It's all about them. It is always all about them.
As far as the illegals go - I know Mexican descent citizens who can't pay off their student loans because those jobs were given to illegals. I also know alot of 16 year olds without summer jobs and some who really NEED permanent part-time jobs and those jobs just aren't out there because the illegals have them. I'm not buying that crap about PWC. People made $ off the illegals instead of citizens and now they are having to retool, regear, retrain, redo, refocus - all the things that citizens displaced by illegals have had to do. Yes, I know that the citizens who have been displaced by illegals are the ones you choose to revile, but the fact is that they are citizens, they are human beings and they do need jobs. After they get jobs a well-defined non outsourced, not dumbsized career path would be nice too.
I finally figured out that this rag probably gets away with all the biased bull you present because you are classified as an "Entertainment Weekly?" Maybe that needs to be reconsidered as well.

Everyone's bitching about this proposed economic hit Arizona's going to take, or the "loss" of revenue from organizations pulling their convention business from the agenda, or the hit we'll take when the All Star Game tanks.
The only thing I see is this over glorified bird cage liner doing nothing more than encouraging more rabble rousing and further blind eyes turned toward those who are here illegally - and I'll point out that the Hispanics AREN'T the only ones here illegally.
I'm sure that, if someone bothered to look hard enough, you'd SEE that there's more than one ethnicity represented here in Arizona. The Hispanics are the martyrs that BITCH the loudest because they don't know how to keep a low profile. Look to any convenient street corner and you see them clustered like ants around a dropped ice cream bar, waiting for some penny pinching moron looking to under pay a small workforce rather than hire LEGITIMATE workers.
I think a law like this on a state level is just the kick in the ass this country needs to wake up and smell the coffee. I think a law like this should be passed in all FIFTY states to make life VERY uncomfortable for those who choose to come here illegally and DRAIN the resources that we, the REAL tax payers, are providing WITHOUT consent so that these cockroaches can live like kings without EARNING THEIR KEEP.
And by the way, Mr. Lemons. If you are so sympathetic to the criminals who are here in this country, you are more than free to go with them when they depart. In my opinion, you're a bigger traitor than those who help these parasites stay here. I, for one, will be among the first to help you pack.

I look forward to the further collapse of the Arizona economy, even as fewer illegal immigrants remain to blame the collapse on.
BTW, I just returned from 2 weeks in a foreign country, on the advice of the American Embassy I never carried my passport with me. I left it secured in the safe in my apartment. I've never been hassled, questioned, stopped or had my status in the country questioned. Instead people were polite, pleasant and friendly.
Now I did have a companion get sick and have to go to the hospital, the bill for the visit was under $200.
The problem we have in the US isn't illegal immigration, that's just the whipping boy used to avoid dealing with the real issues, such as why a simple medical condition can incur medical bills in the thousands of dollars in the US. Or why so many Americans are milking the welfare system, including food stamps, or why so few Americans pay federal income taxes.
For all those complaining about the cost of all the illegal immigrants in US jails, locking up a few million more should take care of that problem, right?
-
Dan 05/17/2010 7:11:00 AM
Mr. Lemmons, I don't think you've read the law... or perhaps you don't understand a couple of legal terms. Either way, you've written an article which shows that you have no understanding of what the law says. Last I checked (Yes, I've read the law), there isn't a word about "ethnic cleansing", nor does the law allow officers to arrest someone or harass someone simply for being brown. Your insinuation otherwise is disgraceful, if you consider yourself a journalist.
-
McNeilly 05/17/2010 4:31:00 AM
What part of the word "illegal" do you all not understand? Only legal migrants should be allowed to live in the country. They have earned the privilege by obeying and respecting the laws of our land. Those who broke the law by breaking into our country should be deported and not allowed to apply for five years. Stop your whining and get in line "behind" the honest immigrants who also want a better life. You who actually support illegal immigration do not respect the laws of the land. Illegal is illegal, period.

To answer your question, yes. I would be glad to give up a few conventions to rid us of the illegals criminals who fill our school with their illegal children and do no pay one cent toward their education s they do not pay federal or state income taxes. I would be glad to have them leave so that our medical costs go down do to their failure to have insurance and overloading our hospitals. Yes, to having them leave so that there will be less crime and drugs and murders and rapes. Yes, just go. Follow the law as every country in the world, even half-baked Mexico, has immigration laws that need to be followed. Just obey the law. Period. Screw the conventions and restaurants. They are overpriced and greedy anyway.

How about a research study of those who will visit Arizona BECAUSE they try to stop illegal immigration? Those numbers may offset the crazy and unsupported estimates of lost revenue that are being publicized by the liars.

Ethnic Cleansing?
You've been reading too much in the Republic.
I love it. The majority of people in Arizona and America support this legislation, but the media sides with the opposition.
Why don't you print something we haven't read already?
-
Kliegl 05/15/2010 8:05:00 PM
YELLOW JOURNALISM. You, sir, are an insult to your profession, and are part of the reason the press is despised more than any other profession save that of a doctor of jurisprudence.
Please, the race card is tattered and soiled from all the times it is erroneously pulled. Put. It. Down. It is not racism, nor ethnic cleansing (way to trivialize actual genocides there, Boy Wonder) to wish for illegal aliens, regardless of color, to be gone from this nation.
You will note, if you can grasp the distinction, that no one wants Mexican-Americans gone. That is the shell that blows the crippling hole in your argument. It's not race, it's citizenship, or, more precisely, lack thereof, driving this.
I call for your resignation, hack.

Calling the new AZ immigration law "ethnic cleansing" is an insult to those whose families have actually gone through such a thing in places such as Europe. Nice attempt at over-hyping this. But such things are typical of hacks such as S. Lemons.

Verizon is no longer buying ads from known SB 1070 supporters: http://patrickhenrypress.info/node/200877
As much as I hate cell phone contracts, it really would be very entertaining to see SB 1070 supporters putting their wallets where their mouths are and forking over the cancellation fees.

Overestimating Arizonans 05/15/2010 12:50:00 AM
Mr. Lemons,
You are vastly overestimating the intellectual capabilities of Arizonans. For quite some time now, we've been dealing with these economic boycotts and how much the travel industry stands to lose.
But there's a portion of the electorate that does not understand economics and simple accounting. These people, who can be seen in the comments section of AZCentral viciously spewing hate and practically DARING cities and organizations to go ahead and boycott, have little (if any) understanding of how this will impact them.
A good section of Arizonans don't even understand basic fiscal responsibility, as we're second in the nation in foreclosures (http://phoenix.bizjournals.com/phoenix/stories/2010/01/11/daily61%C2%AD.html); if someone cannot understand the fiscal irresponsibility of a mortgage taking up more than 2/3 of your monthly income, I doubt that same person is well-versed in macroeconomic principles.
You have to boil it down to much simpler terms: Ready to double your grocery bill? How does $9 Dollar Footlong sound as a jingle? Ready for goods to cost MORE and your dollar to buy LESS?
In states with much lower immigration, the goods cost less. A gallon of milk in Montana costs $4.89, which actually looks cheap in comparison to the actual price of milk in New Town, North Dakota, which is is $6.15 - compare that to the $2 that Arizona averages.
Quite frankly, Arizonans will have no one but ourselves to blame when jobs are more limited and our dollar buys less. The ironic thing is, it is the high-earning public officials and high-earners in the private sector that have less to lose, and those shouting the loudest for SB 1070 have the most to lose. But once the economic realities of SB 1070 set in, there will probably be a new scapegoat - everything under the sun will be blamed but themselves.

Another Russell Pearce Lie: INFLATED/Manipuklated data re:lots of immigrants are sex criminals
He actually has this manipulated data on one of his sites:
http://www.maricopagop.org/tag/russell-pearce/
Schurman-Kauflin based her findings on a 2005 Government Accountability Office survey that showed 2 percent of illegals in federal, local or state prisons had committed a sex crime. She then applied that percentage to the illegal immigrant population at large. This statistical sleight-of-hand, however, withers by employing the very stats she uses. GAO data for 2003 (the most recent year available) showed about 308,000 criminal aliens (legal as well as illegal immigrants) were in American prisons; they constitute about 3 percent of the nation's 12 million illegal immigrants. If only 2 percent of incarcerated illegals committed a sex crime, then it's intellectually misleading to arrive at the 240,000 figure

TheRumpledone 05/14/2010 9:57:00 PM
We should treat immigrants like Mexico does:
At present, Article 67 of Mexico's Population Law says, "Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues."
That would simplify things.
We do NOT need immigration reform. We need immigration ENFORCEMENT!
WAKE UP AMERICA AND SMELL THE HYPOCRISY

this law is to get out all imigrants and ciminalize them now to be with out documents in USA is a civil crime, but with this law

I'm still not sure how this negatively affects U.S. citizens. If I were in, say, Latvia I wouldn't leave with out my visa, passport, "papers" if you will. I mean, come on, we have 3 citizens in Iran accused of spying, and Arizona citizens actually had to vote to not let illegal aliens get state benefits? Back asswards...

So the police could arrest anyone that is not carrying proof of ID until that person can prove he/she is in the country legally.
If a white person forget his/her ID and is stopped by the police for whatever reason, how can the police know that person is not an illegal?

Chad, your thoughtful comment reflecting on that 12/07 Wall Street Journal editorial is instructive.
There is so much hate that comes through on many comments that those exhibiting those traits can't see the forest for the trees.
Scott Chilcote, the mean spirited SB 1017 will do nothing to rid the state of criminals that have emanated from south of the border. Stop deluding yourself. Purging the state of all Hispanics Americans through "attrition" by making them continually subject to demeaning ID checks might make you feel good but you also paint yourself as the narrow ugly American with your simplistic assessment of the country's changed and unenforced immigration policies. "It's all THEIR fault. Get rid of all those Latino foreigners and U.S. citizens alike. Problem solved."
People of Latino descent comprise 30% of Arizona's population. Do you feel threatened because of it?

Question for Tom Renhold 05/14/2010 2:02:00 PM
"tom renhold 05/13/2010 5:47:57 AM
The false narrative characterizing Arizona's anti-immigration laws as profiling people according to race is put forth by those who have not read and do not understand the law. "
Tom how is it misunderstanding that a LE now can use Reasonable Suspicion (of someone being a alian in the US illegally) to ask someone for their immigrent papers and then arrest/detain them if they say they do not have them or they are a citizen? http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/49leg/2r/bills/sb1070s.pdf
Sec. 2. Title 11, chapter 7, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 8, to read:
E. A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, WITHOUT A WARRANT, MAY ARREST A PERSON IF THE OFFICER HAS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE PERSON HAS COMMITTED ANY PUBLIC OFFENSE THAT MAKES THE PERSON REMOVABLE FROM THE UNITED STATES.
Combine the above lines with the "reasonable suspicion" that the object of their questioning has violated the below items and you have what racist LE will use to initiate contact with people other wise not engaged in any unlawful acts. The below items are also what will be used as the basis for checking violations of Sec. 4. Section 13-2319
or Sec. 5. Title 13, chapter 29, 13-2928 item C. What aspect will the LE make thier initial internal assment on if they have reasonable suspicion or not?
Sec. 3. Title 13, chapter 15, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 13-1509, to read:
A. IN ADDITION TO ANY VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW, A PERSON IS GUILTY OF TRESPASSING IF THE PERSON IS BOTH:
1. PRESENT ON ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE LAND IN THIS STATE.
2. IN VIOLATION OF 8 UNITED STATES CODE SECTION 1304(e) OR 1306(a).
1304e (e) Personal possession of registration or receipt card; penalties
Every alien, eighteen years of age and over, shall at all times carry with him and have in his personal possession any certificate of alien registration or alien registration receipt card issued to
him pursuant to subsection (d) of this section. Any alien who fails to comply with the provisions of this subsection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction for each offense be fined not to exceed $100 or be imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.
1306(a) (a) Willful failure to register
Any alien required to apply for registration and to be fingerprinted in the United States who willfully fails or refuses to make such application or to be fingerprinted, and any parent or legal guardian required to apply for the registration of any alien who willfully fails or refuses to file application for the registration of such alien shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not to exceed $1,000 or be imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
section 13-1509 sub-Section G item2 sub item A and B
So Tom, How am I misunderstanding this stuff?

So Stephen, about the 18.6 Billion figure you used in the headline. Is that the total hit Aribamazona will take or the total tourist dollars and a partial persentage will be lost due to 1070? Some what misleading.
I am shocked, totally shocked that Russell Pearce was being manipulated by a lawyer from FAIR. Does that mean ol' Rus was a stooge? Governor Fruit Loops ain't much better. Doesn't mental illness run in the Brewer family (Stephen, I just dropped a dime in your lap)?
