Nighthawks, that famous Edward Hopper painting depicting a mostly empty, big city street-corner diner, has inspired songs, short stories, and now a play. Alan Austins Podskis Hole imagines the possibilities in pairing a real-life Average Joe with the characters from a renowned painting, whove magically escaped its canvas and are sampling the real world.
