But though most the Valley will be sweating their collective asses outdoors watching fireworks and whatnot, Markus Schulz and his fans will be kicking it within the air-conditioned comfort of the Marquee Theatre, 730 North Mill Avenue in Tempe, on Saturday, July 3. The German-born trance turntablist (who worked the wheels of steel in Phoenix clubs for most of the '90s) is headlining the massive Indepen-dance event at the concert hall, which also offers supporting sessions from locals Turner & Heit, Sean Essex, DJ Lujan, and DJ Tonic.
