Semi Precious Weapons frontman Justin Tranter is definitely a party animal in the third degree. Poke around the Internet and you're bound to find gossipy accounts of his after-dark exploits of drinking, DJing, and debauching with the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Kate Moss, and Perez Hilton. The androgynous and outrageous vocalist is also a notorious party pal of Lady Gaga, owing to the pair's status as BFFs and tourmates. So does that mean the pop diva will be on hand for Tranter's guest DJ gig on Saturday, July 31, at Forbidden Nightclub, 6820 East Fifth Avenue in Scottsdale, during a special edition of Crotch Rockitt? Promoter Austin Head says it's in the realm of possibility, but isn't making any promises. One thing he can guarantee, however, is that the ab-fab affair (which serves as one of two after-parties for Gaga's concert this weekend) will be one to remember. In addition to Tranter and the other members of SPW dropping electro and dance rock tracks, the party will also offers a hard rock spin session by GaGaloo cohort Lady Starlight. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission is $10 with ticket stub, $15 without, and $30 for VIP access. Call 480-994-5176.
