Rock Starry Night

See The King on the trail

In the 1950s, Elvis Presley cautioned listeners not to step on his blue suede shoes.

He didn’t say anything about hiking boots.

The folks at Estrella Mountain Regional Park are celebrating rock ‘n’ roll’s brightest star with an Elvis-themed telescope hike. Hip-swivelin’ hoofers can take on the rugged, three-mile loop hike along the Toothaker Trail, stopping at the park’s telescope to gaze into the heavens. While flashlights and water are a must, dressing as Elvis will garner a prize fit for the King.
