The long, hot summer has been particularly bumpy for nightclub owner Jon Harris. Since re-opening the doors to Phase 54 at its new location, 1020 North 54th Street in Chandler, in May, he's endured a court challenge from neighboring businesses over the fact they don't want a dance joint in their midst. Undaunted by these developments, Harris isn't shutting down anytime soon and will continue providing nights like Faze Fridays at his club. Hosted by the 101.5 JamZ personality Sugabear, the hip-hop party features sweet spins from DJ Knick Knack and DJ Vegas. Drink specials include $2 domestics, $3 you-call-its, and $5 martinis until 11 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. with a $5 cover. Call 480-540-5992.
