Before computers and the Internet, speculative fiction and fantasy works were delivered to the masses in short stories and novels. CopperCon’s roster of award-winning authors – Stephen R. Donaldson, Yvonne Navarro, and Westen Ochson, just to name a few – will keep fans and aspiring writers busy throughout the weekend. In addition to plenty of programming that includes horror and strictly science, there will be plenty of time for LARPing (live-action role playing) and filking (sci-fi-inspired, community-based singing).

CopperCon starts Friday with special events for pre-registered members.
