Now, what’s not to like about that?

The bloke in question is Jamie Lidell, who smashes together techno with a mix of soul, funk, and beat-box, all elements that are displayed on Compass, his most recent release that Beck produced. In a live setting, Lidell’s been known to put on a lively show -- he's most often described as a "cool, mad fool." If you're lucky, he might just pull out the snakeskin.

Brooklyn-based Twin Shadow, who will be celebrating his debut album Forget, will precede Lidell.
