And while the comic legend – whose TV show we still quote (even though it stopped airing over a decade ago) gets asked to do projects regularly – he’s understandably selective.

“I do stand-up all the time,” Seinfeld recently told Howard Stern, “and it’s like you doing your show -- it’s your thing and you don’t want to do anything else.”

The man who coined the phrase, “What’s the deal with . . . ?” will tour select cities across the nation, humorously observing everything from Pop Tarts (“Why two? One’s not enough and three’s too many, that’s why.”) to BlackBerry phones (“Do we even know what rudeness is in this country anymore?”).
