DOWNTOWN PHOENIX ZOMBIE WALK
"They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for HUMAN FLESH!" screams the tagline for George Romero's landmark 1968 horror film Night of the Living Dead. The same could be said about this annual Halloween event, save for the fact that participants will be in search of a bloody good time instead of feasting on fresh brains. Dozens of undead urbanites will be stumbling and staggering through the streets of downtown Phoenix on Friday, October 29, while covered in zombie makeup and showing off their moaning skills. The route will begin and end at Heritage Square, 115 North Sixth Street, with an after-party taking place until midnight. The lineup starts at 6 p.m. See www.downtownphoenix.com/zombie.
