Serbs You Right

Spit-roasted lamb and palachinke. So good.

After downing the last of the candy corn and (blech) box of raisins, isn’t it time for some chevaps or a palachinke or two?

At the eighth annual SerbFest, patrons can cleanse their post-Halloween palates with homemade Serbian cuisine like spit-roasted lamb and pig, chevaps (Serbian sausage), palachinke (crepes), and gibanica, a savory pie of phyllo dough and feta. Additional Fest fun includes live folk music, dancing, shopping, church tours, and carnival games and rides for the kiddies.

Sat., Nov. 6, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 7, 12-8 p.m., 2010
