We have some potentially bummer news for triathlon wannabees that are currently reading this with a beer in hand rather than a complex carbohydrate sports drink: The Ironman Arizona has sold out of general registration slots, which means you’ll have to wait ‘til ’11 to cycle, swim, and run your hinny off.
We’re sure you’re so crushed right now.
Now that you’ve got a convenient excuse to ditch the competition, you can go ahead and watch from the sidelines as the real-deal athletes tackle the tri in and around Tempe Town Lake.
