The characters in David Sedaris’ new release might not be human, but they're placed in human situations, intended to mirror the insanity of modern life.

You'd do well to expect some insanity, too, at his upcoming event at Changing Hands Bookstore.

Sedaris' appearance is set to be the indie bookstore’s biggest event of the year. The humorist has written several New York Times bestsellers – including Naked, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, and Me Talk Pretty One Day – and his latest collection of modern-day fables, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modern Bestiary, sees Sedaris using animals to make us laugh and, perhaps, teach us satirical lessons about living in a modern world.

Everyone who purchases a copy of Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk for $21.99 will meet Sedaris and get his or her book signed; Changing Hands strongly recommends you pre-order and pick your copy up before the day of the event.
