Christmas Eve happens to fall on a Friday this year, which can be a blessing and a curse if you're a club promoter. It's the start of the weekend, which means most everyone's in the mood to party; but it's also Christmas-frickin'-Eve, which means most cats are gonna be with their families. The folks at VIP Enterprises are betting that plenty of peeps will be out and about, which is why they're staging a Night Before Xmas Party on Friday, December 24. The event coincides with their weekly Uncensored Fridays 18-and-over dance night at Club Trinity, 1420 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, and will feature hip-hop and Top 40 tracks laid down by DJ Shadow. (Here's hoping he plays Run-D.M.C.'s "Christmas in Hollis.") Holiday time equals presents, which is why there will be plenty of prizes and giveaways handed out to patrons.
