While the minds of America may never be cleansed of the image of Snooki dropping in a glass ball on New Years Eve, they can take solace that the only party animal being celebrated for the Chinese New Year is one with long ears, a puffy tail, and zero arrests for public intoxication.
Highlighting this years Phoenix Chinese Week, celebrating the Chinese New Year 4709, The Year of the Rabbit, is the free, three-day Culture and Cuisine Festival. Featuring dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and a Taipei dragon boat display, the festival also serves up live entertainment, activities for kids, and authentic Chinese cuisine.
Celebrate, sans Snooki, at the COFCO Chinese Cultural Center.
