Now, you can get up close and personal with the original orange creatures right in our own backyard, thanks to the Orang-Hutan: People of the Forest exhibit at The Phoenix Zoo. As part of the World Class Zoo for a World Class City capital campaign, the parks orangutan enclosure has received a major upgrade. The new habitat includes expanded indoor and outdoor space, with more room for swinging and climbing. The new digs will also allow visitors a better view of Duchess, the grand dame of the Phoenix Zoos orangutans, and her cohort.
