Life really is a cabaret, old chum at least, according to Scottsdale Community College adjunct faculty members Polly Chapman and Beth Livingston-Hakes. Four years ago, they brought musical theater to the campus via a cabaret show thats now a yearly tradition.
This springs performance, For Better or For Worse: Love Changes Everything, takes a comical look (is there any other kind?) at relationships, from a fantasy first date told through a musical number called Stud and Babe to what happens when that lovin feeling doesnt last. And, as if relationships werent tragically funny enough, the colleges president and the music department chair will make cameo appearances.
