Final Stretch
You’re usually more likely to see fashionistas in bikinis downing frou-frou cocktails at the W Scottsdale's WET lounge than peeps in workout gear doing stretches. But the icy stares and catty comments that would usually be aimed at such a sweaty group will be suspended for the finale of Free Flow, an hour-long weekly yoga session at the trendy rooftop pool deck.
"Yoga means to 'yoke' (bring together) and this is a great way to bring positive people together to share smiles and an energizing flow practice in an amazing space," says the night's instructor, Anton Mackey.
After you get fit, continue to loosen up with $3 beers, $5 well drinks and half-off food specials at the W’s Shade Lounge. Besides the libations, there will also be a fitness wear fashion show by Lululemon Athletica and a performance by musician Trevor Hall, who has played with major names including Stevie Nicks and Ziggy Marley.
