The Southwestern Shakespeare Company presents Shakespeare’s notoriously bloody revenge tragedy Titus Andronicus Protagonist Titus finds himself elected to the throne of the Roman Empire after years abroad in battle, but he deems himself unfit and humbly rejects the offer.

The bloodbath begins when Titus sacrifices the son of enemy Tamora, igniting in her a fiery passion for revenge. Titus allows his competitive brother to take control of the throne while Titus slowly loses his marbles. His dramatic decline includes gore, rape, ghosts, and cannibalism. Whoever said Shakespeare was dull?
