Since the seminal cartoon made its theatrical debut in 1930, generations of kids have been entertained by the likes of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. But few fans are familiar with the kind of work that goes into creating a cartoon - especially before the advent of computer animation, when completing a short could take six months.

Get a behind the scenes look at how Tweety, Porky, and company were created at “The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons” exhibition at Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa. The show celebrates the era of hand-drawn cartoons with over 160 drawings, paintings, animation cels, and related art objects, plus an interactive green screen that shows humans in cartoon form, and an animation station where kids and grownups can craft their own kooky characters.
