Filmmaker Scott Coblio's Murderess: The Winnie Ruth Judd Story tells the sordid tale of the trunk murders, and screens on the 80th anniversary of the grisly double-murder.

The movie features marionettes as actors, and explores the deadly competition among Judd and her gal pals for the affection of prominent Phoenix businessman John “Happy Jack” Halloran.

Coblio will be on hand for a Q&A session after the film's screening.
