Paper has long been one of man’s greatest tools -- for communication, art, and the occasional origami fortuneteller -- and this summer, it’s in the spotlight at Phoenix Art Museum.

“Paper!” is a collection of drawings, prints, watercolors, three-dimensional work, and fashion pieces from around the world put together by the museum’s curators and its education department. The exhibition will be an opportunity to see (and drool over) works not often displayed for the public because of their high sensitivity to light.
Expect to see works by European artists including Hubert Robert, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Pierre Bonnard, as well as World War I bond posters that will provide a stark comparison to the collection’s Asian and American works.
