More About
The last Diamondbacks game we attended was in early May, when our boys took on San Francisco. Late in the third inning, Diamondback Gerardo Parra ripped a ball into right-center field, where it bounced over the wall and into the outstretched, overly tan arm of Dan Majerle, who caught the thing without spilling a crumb of his food. The D-Backs went on to lose the game 5-2, but all we remember about it is the incredulous look on Majerle’s face. The point: You never know when a memorable moment will strike. Even in the upcoming series opener against the Seattle Mariners, basement-dwellers of the AL West, something amazing could happen.
