When Facebook went public back in May, the giddy geeks were all too eager to buy up some shares. That is, until the stock fell flat and shareholders filed a suit against Mark Zuckerberg's brainchild and a bunch of Wall Street suits. Perhaps that poked at the beginning of the end for the network. And, when it does go the way of Friendster, maybe instead of looking at pictures of high school acquaintances' ugly babies, folks will find time to do something interesting -- like develop the next Pinterest, Twitter, or yet-unnamed online tool.
