Southwest Shakespeare Company opening this season of performances with one of the Bard's earliest comedic works, Love’s Labour’s Lost, is a welcome departure from the more tread-upon classics. As the company has earned its reputation for producing Elizabethan theater in a fun, relatable way, there may not be a better play to adapt for modern audiences than one of Will's most poetic and ostentatious (read: tough to translate into our world of BRBs and LOLs).
