Michael Lacey Talks About Selling New Times and Village Voice Media to Trusted Colleagues

What a bunch of self-serving, flatulent bullcrap ! Does anyone expect The New Times flagship rag to run an honest editorial on Mike Lacey ? Your paper here in SF is ridiculous. They are much fairer about printing dissident rightists than Big Bruce's nasty Bay Guardian or the East Bay Express, which is going to renamed The Gammon Gazette because one ultra-leftist behind writes 90% of the copy. Even on Arpaio you guys have gone way over the edge. Joe has a great program for animal abusers that ought to be adopted nationwide. I don't agree with most of his policies but I wouldn't expect fair reporting on him by New Times. The aptly named Lemons falsely smeared David Irving as a holocaust revisionist years ago. As a secular Jew (Mom's side) I think the revisionists are on to something. I lived in Tel Aviv for two years and saw how Shoah Business has become a huge racket.

But Irving is no revisionist here.

Frankly the whole PC braindead Left is boring. When The Big O is reelected and the economy sinks this time the blame will fall on the Left and the Dems.

As a decades long supporter of the Village Voice turned VVM, Phoenix New Times, we're saddened to hear Lacey and Larkin are selling this outstanding alternative paper. But we understand, at this point in your lives and the constant attacks you've been under, that you've made a business and life decision.

Without both of you, no one would have ever known the depth of their corruption, cruelty and inhumanity that exemplifies the state of Arizona.

No one would have known how they thumb their noses at the U.S. Constitution and have taken our rights away, threatening our very survival in this state and that of its own future.

No one would have ever known about the blatant corruption of Arizona's "officials", from the top to the bottom and those who are driving the self-destruction of a once fine state.

We wish you both the best in all your endeavors. We hope your entrusted colleagues "blast forward".  

Godspeed, Mr. Lacey and Mr. Larkin. You WILL be missed.

Good luck Mr. Lacey and Mr. Larkin. You will be greatly missed. We cannot thank you enough for fighting for the rights of so many whose voices have been silenced in Arizona. You'll go down in history for what you have accomplished in the field of journalism and in shoveling out the bad guys in Arizona. Without your dedication and drive no one would have ever found out. Godspeed!

Thank you for opening my eyes to the horrors of the MCSO shurf, Candy Andy Thomas, and all the other corrupt slimeballs we call politicians in this state.

Also thank you for standing up for your beliefs and for protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
