Canada has given us some notable comedians throughout the years. They've formed a universal identity with their kooky and slightly off-kilter view that only the most polite society could produce. If you started making a list, you would be hard pressed not to come up with a string of names so white they wouldn't even show up on paper. It's not likely a second-generation Middle Eastern Catholic would come to mind -- unless you already know of Russell Peters.
