Lend Tyson Your Ears

On October 2, 1980, when Muhammad Ali came out of retirement for a match against Larry Holmes, a 14-year-old Mike Tyson was watching. Surrounded by his boxing trainers and fellow athletes, Tyson looked on with shock as Holmes unmercifully beat the invincible Ali. The next day, Tyson's trainer got Ali on the phone, and Tyson, blubbering and sniffling, told him, "When I get big, I'm gonna kill him for you!" The cool thing: Eight years later, he served Holmes the only K.O. of his career.
