Depending on how you look at it, a bazaar can be, well, quite bizarre. The former is typically an interesting place to shop where something things can be, well quite bizarre. Consider the possible overlap at the fourth annual Black Bird Holiday Exhibition and Bazaar. Part art show, part gift extravaganza, the event features the work of 17 Arizona artists, some of it, well, quite bizarre. Take the paintings on pieces of the old Tempe Town Lake rubber dam for example, or the mannequins given new life with fresh paint and found object accessories. Of course, there’s more traditional art for sale, like ornate wooden boxes, glass objects, decorative picture frames, and a variety of jewelry.
