Free Sci-Fi

It's fair to argue that science fiction hasn't merely reflected popular culture; it has often shaped it. By engaging our imaginations with fantastical technological trajectories and visions of the future, it frequently serves as a template for life's imitation of art. While often wildly inaccurate, is there any artistic genre that has at the same time been as prescient? Probably not. Which is why the Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 West Rio Salado Parkway, has teamed up with ASU's Center for Science and the Imagination to host the exhibit “American POP! Comic Books to Science Fiction.”
