7: Becky Nahom
When we last put the spotlight on 100 creative forces in Phoenix, it was no secret there were more than 100 individuals who were making waves in the local arts community. So in celebration of our Best of Phoenix issue, we're profiling 100 more. Welcome (back) to 100 Creatives.

I came to Phoenix with ... Born and raised in Phoenix. After a few stints in New York City, I have most recently returned to Phoenix with a new appreciation for the desert landscape and low humidity.
I curate art because ... One of my favorite experiences is going to a well-curated art show. I hope that in some small way, shape or form that my curatorial efforts can provide a positive experience for the artists and the public.
I'm most productive when ... I can't see any limitations.
My inspiration wall is full of ... Postcards, museum maps, admission-control litho tabs, images of a few of my favorite pieces, childhood photos.
I've learned the most from ... Working through a problem. And ... The Real Housewives of any city, including Vancouver.
Good work should always ... Come with an artist to back it up.
The Phoenix creative scene could use more ... Curiosity.
