The venerated hip-hop night The Blunt Club celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special edition on Thursday, May 17, at its current home at Yucca Tap Room in Tempe.

MAD Couture Challenge on Tempe's Mill Avenue

Nine local designers took donations from Mill merchants and transformed them into high fashion for the MAD Couture Challenge. Designers included Mabel Cortez, Scott Allison, Keytha Fixico, Sebastien Millon, George Johnson, Anya Melkozernova, Green Eyed Goddesses, LMC Designs and Charles Goffnett.

Downtown's Third Friday (May 18)
Art galleries in downtown Phoenix hosted a number of exhibition openings with plenty of new artwork from local artists such as Isaac Caruso, Ann Drosendahl, Jeff Davis, Davin Lavikka and James B. Hunt.
