Breaking Bad Heisenberg Hat to Be Released at San Diego Comic-Con
Was anyone surprised by Breaking Bad's numerous Emmy nominations this season?
We didn't think so.
In anticipation of the final eight episodes of the Emmy-winning show, Breaking Bad addicts have been anxiously been tweaking on AMC promos, rerun binges, television spoofs, and now, San Diego Comic-Con.
Fans fortunate enough to attend the weekend's events will be privy to autograph signings, an exclusive final season preview, a discussion panel with the Breaking Bad cast, and, to top it all off, they'll be able to walk away with a souvenir befitting the Kingpin himself.
To commemorate the final season of the hit drug-dealing drama, AMC has teamed up with longstanding hat makers Goorin Bros, to create an official "Heisenberg" porkpie hat. The limited-edition souvenir, modeled after the one worn by Walter White, a.k.a. Heisenberg, will be sold with a collector's hat box set for the steep price of $195 exclusively at this weekend's San Diego Comic Con.
Only 1,895 of these special "Heisenberg" hat and box sets have been produced, and should remaining hats be available following the Comic-Con festivities, Goorin Bros. plans to sell the accessories online and in select retail stores across the country.
Breaking Bad returns to AMC on Sunday, August 11, at 9 p.m.
