Elizabeth Taylor, considered to be one of the greatest American actresses, died this morning at the age of 79.
Her film career began when she was 9 years old in There's One Born Every Minute. She continued acting and was nominated for awards for her performances in Raintree County , Cat on a Hot Tin Roof , Suddenly, Last Summer , and perhaps her most famous starring role in Cleopatra in 1963.
She's currently No. 7 on The American Film Institute's Female Legends list.
