Get to Know a Baseball Wife: Introducing Chantel Kendall (VIDEO)
Chantel Kendall of Vh1's Baseball Wives
Vh1's latest reality endeavor, Baseball Wives, is based in (where else?) spring training hotspot Scottsdale. The catty crew includes Anna Benson, Erika Monroe Williams, Tanya Grace, Brooke Villone, Jordana Lenz, and this week's final femme Chantel Kendall.
The six women have (or have had) romances with MLB players, and, as it's "reality" telly, they pick fights, make and break alliances, take extravagant trips, and are socially bound together by little more than the shared profession of their hubbies, boyfriends, and exes.
Each woman has a story, and we're dishing the juicy deets...
Name: Chantel Kendall
Reputation: The hot, tattooed mess who's sweet and acts as a confidant to her fellow wives, but always distracts us with her messiness. Kendall is incredibly thin -- so waifish that it makes us genuinely worry about her well being. She's copped to spending time in rehab, struggled with being addicted to "anything and everything," enjoys playing black jack, and described herself as "functionally dysfunctional." Eek.
Baseball Husband: Chantel was married to Kansas City Royals catcher Jason Kendall. The former couple had an super messy, dramatic, drawn-out divorce battle, which ended around the time Baseball Wives began shooting.

Totally normal stuff to do in front of cameras...
Quotable Quips: "My gut is saying we're all going to eventually end up looking like fools." Yes, she said this while nearly naked and getting a spray tan.
Claim(s) to Fame: Chantel's messy relationship with her ex-hubby has made headlines, as did her now-called-off engagement to Sean Stewart, son of the one and only Rod.
Where's the Beef?: We gave you the DL on Erika's beef with Chantel -- who she dubbed "bottom of the barrel" -- a couple weeks back. But by the end of the season, Chantel was content to hop on the we-all-hate-Brooke bandwagon and comfort fellow hot mess Jordana -- despite the fact that Chantel referred to her as a "cleat chaser" earlier in the season. Chantel plays consoling mama bear well, and it's a welcome role among the cast of crazy bitches, backstabbers, and cry-babies.
