As New Times employees, it's part of our journalistic duties to investigate trends, and we'll gladly put our skills to work at this year's Body Art Expo, the world's largest showcase of tattoo artists and lovers. Want us to do a story about one of the more than 300 top tattoo and piercing artists who'll be showcasing their skills? Done. How about an interview with Tommy Montoya of New York Ink or Ruthless of L.A. Ink, both of whom will be there? You got it. Need some pictures of the winners of the contests for best tattoo, hottest babe, hottest stud, or best orgasm? We're all over it. We'd even be willing to go under the needle ourselves to find out what all the fuss is about.

But following up on the supposed trend of butthole tattoos that emerged after last year's South Florida Tattoo Expo? You're on your own for that one.
