You want authentic? Do you? Well, you’re going to get it (in a good way) during the Mekong Tet 2010 Lunar New Year Festival. The two-day celebration that gives it up to Vietnamese culture isn’t your watered-down, garden-variety shindig. Rather, Mekong Plaza, the southeast Asian-themed mini-mall that opened in October 2008 will serve on-the-real Vietnamese food that will make you feel like you’re actually somewhere that isn’t the east side of the Phoenix area. Plus, a full-scale carnival and live entertainment will go off.
