It's not a shoe myth anymore -- it's shoe porn.

In the film, which will be screened at the Phoenix Art Museum on Friday, October 28, a collection of experts tackle the age-old question: What is that we love so much about shoes?

It's an eternal tale, one of love, passion, sex and fashion. You'll hear from Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Pierre Hardy, a handful of shoe-happy celebrities, psychologists and a sex-expert or two as they explore the lustful relationship between a woman and her shoes, and why shoes have reached such a crucial place in pop culture today.

"They change they way you feel, the way you walk," says Dennita Sewell, the Curator of Fashion Design at Phoenix Art Museum. "Everything can change instantly."

The museum's screening will be more than just a night at the movies. There will be hors d'oeuvres, a bar, and selections on display from the museum's extensive collection of shoes from the last 150 years.

Besides, where else in Phoenix will you get to strut out in that pair of sexy, red-soled, patent leather Louboutins on which you spent a month's rent?

Tickets are selling fast (for $25 a pop) and you can bet there will be some serious shoe envy going on at this party. Check out the film's site here and purchase a ticket to the film's Phoenix debut here.
