The store on 11th Street and Indian School Road has been in operation for 40 years (the same owners also run a location in Tempe). And, yes, they literally sell some of their fabrics by the pound. If it's not sold by the pound, it's practically sold by the penny -- the prices are ridiculously reasonable.
Every visit is an adventure as the bargain bin, warehouse-style fabric and notions store consistently has something new to offer. This time around, we got lost in the bolts of bright fabric, buckets of buttons, spools of ribbon, and piles of beaded fringe. And, of course, we just had to snap some photos for a slideshow.
