If you can't make it to SxSW this year, then SxSW is coming to you...sorta. Indie and underground bands from the across the nation are currently making their way to Austin for the esteemed annual music/film festival (which kicks off tomorrow), including those riding the I-10 all the way to the Lone Star State. The upshot: There are gonna be some rather outstanding, tastemaking musicians moving through our town over the next 24-72 hours, many of which will stop over for a show or two. Like the SoCal indie rock band Miss Derringer, for instance, which plays Hollwood Alley along with local guests The Rebel Set and The Cosmeticators.
