The new studio, set to open sometime next year, will feature the same "deco-punk" style as the original location and will be situated next to Lux Commonwealth and County (also set to open sometime next year).
"We are still finalizing the details for a specific opening date, but we are excited to bring Sutra's vibe to this remarkable neighborhood and thrilled to play with the residents of downtown," says Matthew Fritz.
Sutra Downtown will offers the same fitness classes that customers of the Coronado-based location have become accustomed to including Vinyasa Yoga, Skullpt Fit Conditioning, Skullpt Barre, and Mum Deva Prenatal.
The family-owned operation will also continue to offer its well-established community programs like Rooftop Yoga at The Clarendon Hotel, Yoga in the Park, and YogaVin, a wine-tasting yoga class.
