Five years ago, Abelardo Gil decided to change lives for the better one show at a time with music that’s part electronic, part soul, part motivational speaking, and mostly magic. His one-man band, Treasure Mammal, will take you to a world of rainbow roads, unicorn life partners, and lovingly violent body gyrations, all while your sweat turns to glitter.

We're not kidding here, folks. Treasure Mammal is an institution, one whose following rivals that of a religious cult. Gil borrowed sound clips and BFF’d his way around this town long before Girl Talk was a hipster household name. His pseudo-ironic, cocksure swagger has attracted large audiences as well as prominent collaborators such as Corey Fogel and local whiz kids Back Ted N-Ted.
