Three Must-See Pool Parties This Weekend in Phoenix
That Mother Nature can be quite the trickster.
Last weekend, for instance, it was all cold and dreary as clouds and chilly temps were summoned to the Valley. This weekend, however, she's flipped the script and the mercury is expected to hit 103 degrees by Saturday.
Sounds like the perfect time to dive into the nearest pool. If you don't have one of your own, consider heading for any of the luxury swimming holes around the Valley or partake in any of the pimp pool parties taking place this weekend (including a few DJ-filled swim soirees).
The resident DJs of the Dollhouse's weekly Circuit Sundays dance party will step out of their after-dark digs into the light of day for an afternoon-long event. They'll set up on the hotel's second-floor terrace for some fun in the sun starting at 2 p.m., providing patrons with plenty of phat house tracks. Bottle service will be available for $125 and the bar will pour $6 Redbull vodkas.

The Phoenix Place Hotel & Suites
Just in time for this weekend's Phoenix Pride Festival, the newly renamed downtown hotel (formerly known as the Radisson City Center) hosts the all-day Splash Bash featuring a cavalcade of beefy boys in tight trunks mingling with other members of the LGBT community. Organizers of the 21-and-over poolside extravaganza will also dole out free gift bags to the first 100 patrons, offer flavored vodka samples, and stage a variety of contests and games. American Idol finalist David Hernandez and the drag comedy duo of Jessica & Hunter will perform. Gates open at noon. Admission is free until 2 p.m. and $5 discount tickets are available via ION Arizona.
Wet 'n' Wild Waterpark
There will be no shortage of DJs on hand at the North Phoenix kiddie oasis, which will be occupied by the 21-and-over club crowd during the Wet Electric affair on Saturday. Two stages of performers will be tearing up the mixers day and night while buxom bikini-clad babes bounce around to the beat. Posh cabanas, VIP areas, and bottle service will be available and several bars will provide both booze and beers. All of Wet 'n' Wild's attractions will be open, so you can get hammered and ride the waterslides while Dada Life serenades the park with trance tracks. Gates open at 11 a.m. Tickets are available online and range from $65 for general admission to $130 for VIP access.
