Modern Phoenix Superlite Block Plant Tour @ Superlite Block Though she recently left Phoenix for Portland, Blooming Rock Development founder Taz Loomans hasn't written off this Valley entirely. Case in point: Loomans leads the Modern Phoenix Superlite Block Plant Tour from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 19.
Loomans will discuss the types of blocks Superlite manufactured (and continues to make), as well as how the blocks are incorporated into local architecture. Tickets are $40. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own hard hats.
Real World Casting @ Hooters Think you're destined for reality stardom? Lucky for you, MTV's The Real World is on the hunt for its season 29 cast. They're looking for folks 20 years old or older, who look like they're between 20 and 24. If you fit that description (and have an appetite for drama) head to the casting call, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hooters on Mill .

Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company @ Gammage Auditorium Play and Play highlights the combination of music and dance with live musical accompaniment and the choreography of Bill T. Jones, who returns to Gammage for the third and final year of his artist residency. The performance takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday at Gammage Auditorium. Tickets are $35.

Spring Swap PHX @ GROWop Just how far along are you in your spring-cleaning endeavors -- on a scale of filth to Martha? Mm-hm, thought so. Instead of jamming everything on the floor into the unseeable back of the closet, grab some garb and bring it to CO-OPhx's Spring Swap on Sunday.
Wrangle up to 10 gently used items to trade in, bring 'em to the event, and you'll receive credit to snag an equal number of items that other attendees brought. Have a pile primed for donation? You can bring that, too, and the items will go to CollegetownASU and ClothingCycle. Between perusing the goodies, such local fashionables as Ashley Eaton (Merry May Shoppe) and Amir Saebi (Amir's La Voûte) will offer style tutorials at GROWop.
Refresh your wardrobe from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Swapping will take place next door to GROWop, inside Cellar Door Vintage and Annie Boomer Vintage, 908 North Sixth Street. Tickets are $10 online via swapphx.splashthat.com, and $15 at the event.
