If the only thing you love more than gardening is 1988 cult classic films starring Wynona Rider, then pay attention -- this Freebie is for you.

Next Friday, September 21,GROWop, Downtown's favorite vintage inspired boutique/community garden, is throwing its second installment of Movie in the Garden, featuring the dark high school comedy, Heathers.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, pillows, and all the bedding essentials in making a comfortable outdoor viewing experience. GROWop will be offering a small selection of drinks and snacks, but depending on the number of people that show up, it might be smart to bring your own (even smarter, bring enough to go around and score some choice spots in the garden).

The free event will start at 8 p.m., opening with cartoons at 8:15 p.m., and the movie at 8:30p.m.. Moviegoers are also encouraged to return to GROWop the following morning for Garden Volunteer Day from 8am-10am. For more details visit the Roosevelt Growhouse Facebook event page.
