We no longer apologize for our need to eat dessert every day, now that we've discovered a place that bakes up the world's most responsible cookies. The Urban Cookies philosophy ("Our cookies are round, but our vision has four integral corners") says it all about this extraordinary, cookie-specific bakery, where the freshest, highest-quality ingredients are gathered from select purveyors who uphold the standards of owners Shaun and Brady Breese. The Breeses, who earlier this year moved their shop into slicker digs on Seventh Street, use 100 percent organic ingredients that are better for your health and for the environment. Our favorite? It's a toss-up between the Simple Urban, a subtle blend of bourbon vanilla and milk chocolate, and the Urban Trail, which combines roasted peanuts and brown rice crisps for a snap-crackle taste unlike any other cookie. We usually go for a half-dozen of each, and struggle to make them last 'til tomorrow.

These are the best. They really are. I have to say that on the inside of the box they come in, they suggest how to use the cookies. The obvious - just eat it, but also how to freeze and reheat (they are great like this) and how to bake (we call it twice bake) to make them crispier. We have done it all and they are so good. Surprised that they are organic/all natural because they taste so good. Ya gotta go . . . In fact, I want one now!

Urban Cookies ROCK! They have nice complex flavors without being too sweet. They're my favorite.

Urban Cookies are incredible - but so big, you have to share. The standards are great, but my favorite is the coconut pineapple cookie they made earlier this year. I love their custom cookies, and have to stop by to try the new peanut butter they've got listed on the site. I can't wait!

I've also tried all of the cookies found in Arizona and Urban Cookies are not the best. They're dry and tasteless. My vote goes to Chocolate Star Bakery in Scottsdale!

Best cookies I've ever had. These blow away the other pretender cookie shops in the area. Believe me I"ve tried them all. Huge cookies, great taste, excellent service. When you get them they're incredibly fresh...how do they do that? Add some ice cream to any of them and look out.
