BEST DOG PARK, SCOTTSDALE Phoenix 2007 - Chaparral Park
Glad you enjoy it, but we don't, the ripe smell on a warm summer's day goes from Saguaro High School to a mile into the development nearby. Beyond this, the dog owners now seem to think every lawn in the neighborhood is their animals' toilet. A word to any of our valley neighbors in a city planning one of these stinkpots, don't let them do it! Unfortunately it's too late for us. Since (former mayor) Herb Drinkwater left this Earth, apparently "south" Scottsdale is good for little more than treating human and canine feces for the newbies from L.A. and the rich scum up north.
11/23/07Dear Scottsdale Parks and Recreation Staff:We're visiting for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We visited Chaparral Dog Park and Chaparral Park yesterday and today. We met friends there yesterday and had a picnic. The entire park is just beautiful and unique and highly functional. The dog park is the nicest one we've seen and we visit many of them in many cities. Thank you so much for all of your effort on this beautiful park and dog park.
