Best Bingo Phoenix 2008 - Reflections Bingo
This ain't your granny's bingo. Far from the dark, crowded, stinky bingo halls of yesteryear, Reflections Bingo is a blissfully smoke-free building with a snack bar, card room, and video bingo. Specials and hours change throughout the year, but most nights there's traditional bingo at 7 p.m. The game is the same, but the players have changed. Bored singles and stay-at-home moms get out their aggressions by pounding a blotter onto books of numbered boards. Don't discount the old biddies, though. That 70-year-old who reminds you of "Gram" will elbow your cards onto the floor to beat you to the Round Robin or Full Card — and a few hundred bucks.
We've since upgrade the smoke shops ventilation system with a huge exhaust fan to the outside and a wind curtain over the doors to the main hall.
Are you kidding me with this review? This place is soooo old and dingy, not dark but dingy! I'went to this place 10 years ago and it's the same today. I've been there since the smoking ban. Although no one can smoke in the main room they now have turned the no smoking room into a "smoke shop" and everyone comes out from there to go to the snack bar and lets all the smoke and odor out into the main room. You come home reeking of smoke. So don't let the non smoking review here fool you! The snack bar rarely has any popcorn, guess they just don't feel like making it and the food is greezy and over fried! If you don't mind smelling the smoke and greasy food but like to play bingo this is your place, otherwise go out to the Fort.
